Before I register, I want to get an idea of the video quality. How can I do that?
For a sample of the video quality, we recommend that you play our sample clip . We encourage all our users to play the sample clip, prior to registering. In addition to demonstrating the video quality this also checks your system for compatibility.

What will the quality of the video be in a live cricket scenario, when there is a lot of traffic?
The video in a live cricket scenario will be streamed on a variable bit rate basis, this means that we set a maximum upstream rate and your computer will automatically download the stream at the most suitable bit rate for your connection speed and system setup. Compatibility with Apple Mac systems is not guaranteed and we suggest that all Mac users test our demo to ensure that their system is compatible. The reason that some Apple Mac users cannot access is related to Microsoft DRM (Digital Rights Management) compatibility.

The Microsoft DRM system will only work on Mac systems that have WMP (Windows Media Player) Version 9 and above installed and are running under Mac OS 9 or under OS X in Classic Mode. Unfortunately other older Mac based media players such as Flip4Mac are not compatible for live cricket streaming.

Can I connect my computer to the television set, and then watch live cricket on TV ?

What if two matches are on at the same time? Can I watch both games?
You will be provided two links. One showing One Game and the other showing other game. You may switch from one to another but not watch same stream at the same time unless you use two different media players. For example you can watch one live cricket game on WMP and other live cricket streaming on VLC.

Are the matches being shown live?
Watch live cricket. All events covered are broadcast LIVE. For some popular events we may on occasion offer a highlights package at no extra cost.

If I buy access to streams can I record it to my computer and watch it later?

I’d like to be able to watch the match both at home and at work. Is that possible?
You are allowed to watch from different places, using a single registration, provided you do not do so concurrently. If you close one video window and then stream from another place and open another video window, you can watch the match. Just make sure you do not leave the video window open at your home before you leave for work. If you attempt to watch from 2 places concurrently, you will be blocked off from the previous place, and warning will be sent us. Multiple concurrent cricket streams are not permitted. We strongly discourage any attempts to share the streams among multiple users. Violation of this rule will result in the cancellation of your subscription, and no refunds will be provided.

I purchased a stream but there was no play due to an early finish or bad weather, can I have a refund?
Whilst unfortunately no refunds can be provided due to circumstances out with our control, we are happy to offer credits for canceled events in the form of access to alternative events of no lesser value than value of canceled event and not higher than 3 times the value of canceled event.
If no alternative events are available at the time an event has been fully canceled, you may apply credit in the value of canceled event towards future purchases.
Credit amount amount will be calculated per number of games purchased and number of games actually canceled. For instance if you purchased a package with ten one day ODI games and one ODI game was fully canceled, you would receive credit for %10 of original transaction amount.
Only events fully canceled without any play will be considered for such a credit. If no alternative event is available customers should contact us to request a credit for future purchases.

I can’t watch live cricket or any video. What should I do?
Ensure that you have a broadband Internet connection (cable modem or DSL). You will not be able to watch the video without a broadband connection.

Windows Media Player continues to re-buffer, causing annoying breaks in the video and audio.
There are many factors that come into play when it comes to re-buffering problems. The most common element though is temporary Internet routing problems with your ISP.

Occasionally an Internet router(s) will temporarily become overloaded or malfunction. This can lead to Windows Media Player re-buffering. If you are on a broadband connection and usually receive a constant, uninterrupted stream and start to experience re-buffering, this is most likely the case. Be patient. The problems should go away shortly.

Closing other applications which tie up your download bandwidth, such as file sharing applications (e.g. Bearshare, Emule etc.) and online chat tools (e.g. MSN, ICQ etc.) will also allow more of your bandwidth to be dedicated to the live stream.

Finally, you may also wish to test your broadband speed at http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ to make sure your ISP is providing the download speed you would expect.

The video and audio occasionally may skip, fast forward (sound like chipmunks), or slow down during playback.
While the cause of this problem is yet unknown (and occasionally occurs even with all Internet streams) there are a few possible things to check.

1) If using Windows 2000 or XP you can run task manager by following the steps below to check your systems CPU usage. Sometimes high CPU usage can cause playback problems.
1.1) Click start
1.2) Choose run
1.3) In the run dialog type taskmgr
1.4) Click ok
1.5) In task manager choose the performance tab to see the CPU graph
1.6) If you notice unusually high CPU usage (75% or above) you can determine which process is causing the problem by choosing the processes tab in task manager. (be sure show processes from all users is checked)
2) Try disabling any WMP visualizations – they can consume a lot of CPU cycles.
3) Close any programs that you may have opened that are not in use.
4) Check Microsoft’s newsgroups ( http://support.microsoft.com )

I can hear sound but get no pictures
This happens when your Windows Media Player software is referencing to a redundant DRM license. We would suggest in the first instance that clear your DRM license store by using the Microsoft tutorial at http://support.microsoft.com/KB/810422 . As a second option you may wish to consider uninstalling Windows Media Player and/or upgrading to Windows Media Player 10.

Cannot Load Sample Stream
Please remember that the sample can take at least 90 seconds before offering you the play option, from the point that you started. Unfortunately nobody from our staff is able to offer any technical advice regarding sample stream access and you should contact your system administrator to resolve the problem which must be related to your system settings.
